Symbol
The Return of the Light

Punarvasu means return — the arrow that comes back to the quiver, the light that comes back after the storm. A Moon here has a talent that looks quiet from the outside: renewal. This placement recovers. It rebuilds homes, restarts projects, restores faith — its own and other people’s — with a steadiness that does not announce itself. Jupiter’s rulership makes it generous and philosophical; there is usually a teaching streak here, or at minimum a wisdom people come back to. The vulnerability is scattered beginnings. Punarvasu can restart so gracefully that it never quite finishes. The return is sacred. So is the arrival.

You always come back. The question is what you come back to.
